So for me sound has been amazing for the last couple of years and I couldn’t really explain why. I would get results that seemly others sometimes couldn’t. And I thought it was a subjective thing and a hearing thing. But I recent discovered it may be something a little more to it. Something I forgot I did a long time ago that even when I get another Samsung phone upgrade, the settings are transferred over, so I kinda forgot about these changes.

Years ago, I changed my sound settings to reflect the options above, so every time I use earphones, my phone applies these enhancements and boosts the audio. This is probably why some earphones are praised more highly than others, as my results are somewhat doctored by my phone. I experience a larger soundstage and more detail with these settings whenever I use Bluetooth headphones and earphones.

You take those settings and add them to the settings options you already have in the apps with EQ and the like, and I’m sure you can guess the kind of worlds my earphones create that aren’t being heard by others. But this doesn’t mean my comparisons are too off, because when I test any earphone, these advantages are given to them regardless. So that’s a relief. It would be more of a concern if these options weren’t used by all earphones and only certain ones; then I would be more upset. But as it stands, all of them get a boost. It’s the reason why my AirPods probably sound so special on Android vs. iOS when they shouldn’t. But this again still supports why Android is still my platform, because these settings aren’t for iOS phones.

So, despite the hype of the iPhone Duo or any other iPhone, if I even wanted to switch, I would be giving up all these advantages. This again makes switching a huge pain and a sacrifice, despite any advantages I thought I would gain. These are the things that really get in the way of decisions; it is not as simple as just activation and money put down. Despite what people claim or what FOMO exists, switching can prove to be not worth it, especially from android to iOS or vise versa. I’m not saying other types of sacrifice don’t exist for those coming from iOS to android. I understand sacrifice on both sides of the table.
